REVIEW: Monomola Lip Tattoo + How to Tell Original and FAKE!

Hai Ladies. Am sorry for long update, I got thypoid and had to be fully bedrest at home, only eating porridge and doing nothing - seriously the most wasting-time-desease ever! And now I am quite recover, but still need some rest. 

ANYWAY, it's not the main point here, lol. I got MONOMOLA LIP TATTOO in Lovely Peach color. We all know this Monomola Lip Tattoo is new and only can purchased by online here.


Halo cantik. Maaf lama tidak update blog karena kemarin aku sakit tipes dan harus bedrest dirumah, makan bubur doang, dan gak ngapa-ngapain - beneran sakit yang buang waktu banget! Dan sekarang udah lumayan sembuh sih tapi butuh banyak istirahat.

ANYWAY, bukan itu sih inti dari post hari ini, lol. Aku dapat MONOMOLA LIP TATTOO warna Lovely Peach. Kita semua tahu Monomola Lip Tattoo ini masih gres baru dan hanya bisa beli di online shop.

This lip tattoo is controversial because some says good and some says bad. Let me give you a very neutral point of view towards this popular baby!
It has good packaging, travel friendly, and the design for me is quite unique. As you can see, when pressed, the liquid come out with vivid orange color.

Lip tattoo ini cukup kontroversial karena banyak yang bilang bagus dan ada juga yang gak suka. Izinkan aku kasih kalian perspektif yang netral ya dari barang yang lagi beken ini.
Packagingnya oke, bisa dibawa kemana-mana, dan desainnya cukup unik buatku. Seperti yang kalian lihat, waktu ditekan akan keluar cairan oranye yang sangat jreng warnanya.

I tested it on hand. Firstly it has liquid-watery texture with cold sensation for the first touch in skin. Then I have to wait for minimum 20 minutes. The more you wait, the longer color will stay. But I am trying to peel it off in 10 minutes. And the result is not good, still damp, sticky, and left many spoor. Also the color is not stand out :(

Aku coba di tangan dulu. Pertama-tama teksturnya kayak air dan gak terlalu kental, rasanya dingin pertama kali kena kulit. Lalu aku harus tunggu minimal 20 menit. Makin lama waktunya, makin lama warna hasilnya bertahan. Tapi aku ga sabar jadi aku kelupas pas baru 10 menut. Dan hasilnya ga bagus, masih lengket, lembap, dan meninggalkan banyak jejak oranye. Lagipula warna hasilnya jadi gak keluar :(

So I tried to apply in my lips. Sorry for my born duck lips, I feel like wasting this lip tattoo because I have to apply much, lol~
Now I am waiting 20 minutes for the best result, yes, 20 minutes. Quite a long time to prepare myself before going out, right?

Freshly applied: you see my full lips with vivid orange color.
After 20 minutes: I peel it off, and my lips felt soooo dry... It was really hard to remove (maybe it because of my lip is naturally dry and wrinkled!). I tried cleansing oil but still cannot remove the orange thing, otherwise it also bit remove the peach color T_T
And then I finally rub it softly with WATER and it can erase the damn orange tissue *sigh*
I LOVE THE RESULT! It has perfeeeecccttt pure matte color like I always adore! Perfeeeeccctttttt!

Aku coba pakai di bibir. Maaf ya bibirku kaya bebek, kayanya bakal abis ini lip tattoo nya karena harus pakai banyak di bibirku, lol~
Sekarang aku tunggu 20 menit untuk hasil yang maksimal, yaaa, 20 menit. Cukup lama ya untuk dandan sebelum jalan-jalan?

Baru pakai: kamu bisa lihat bibirku penuh dengan oranye terang.
Setelah 20 menit: aku kelupas lapisan oranye dan bibirku terasa sangat kering... Susah banget ngelepasnya (mungkin karena bibirku aslinya memang kering dan berlekuk-lekuk!). Aku coba minyak pembersih tapi gak bisa benar-benar membersihkan lapisan oranye yang tertinggal di bibir, malah menghapus sedikit warna peach nya T_T
Lalu akhirnya aku gosok pelan pake AIR dan bisa hilang semua deh sih oranye itu!
AKU SUKA HASILNYA! Bibir matte yang sempurnaaaaaa seperti yang selalu aku suka!
Sempurna!

See? It has a really lovely peach color, stick beautifully in my lips, like no wearing any lipstick! LOVE LOVE LOVE♥

Lihat? Benar-benar warna peach yang cantik menempel di bibirku, seperti tidak menggunakan lipstik! SUKA SUKA SUKA♥

!!WARNING!!

If you have dry and wrinkled lips like mine, I suggest you to apply lipbalm first, because the peel off process can makes your lips bloody. Huhuhu....

But yeah you have to wait more than 20 minutes then, oil from lipbalm would make the lip tattoo hard to permeate into the lips :)

!!PERHATIAN!!

Kalau kamu punya bibir yang kering dan berlekuk sepertiku, kusarankan menggunakan lipbalm dulu, karena waktu kelupasnya akan membuat bibir berdarah. Huhuhuhu....

Tapi yahh bakal nunggu lebih dari 20 menit, minyak dari lipbalm akan membuat lip tattoo ini susah meresap pastinya :)

After reading my friend's blogpost "Monomola Comparison": now I know that this lip tattoo has many many fake version. And before apply this to my lips, I already had a research about this and I got some conclusion.

Basically, Susan bought two monomola from different online shop: 1) Wait for weeks to get at home, import from Korea. 2) Ready stock at one online shop.
Susan found out the price isn't equal and she wrote all the physical differences in her post, you may check it there, ok? :)
And I come with some points about this MONOMOLA LIP TATTOO FACTS!

Setelah membaca tulisan teman blogger saya "Perbandingan Monomola": sekarang saya tahu kalau lip tattoo ini punya banyak versi palsunya. Dan sebelum pakai di bibir, saya suda melakukan penelitian dan punya beberapa kesimpulan.

Sebenarnya, Susan membeli dua monomola dari dua online shop berbeda: 1) Tunggu lama karena impor dari Korea langsung. 2) Lansung ada di online shop.
Susan lihat harga mereka berdua tidak sebanding dan dia menulis lengkap tentang perbedaan fisik dari kedua produk itu, kalian bisa baca disana lengkapnya, ok? :)
Dan aku dapat beberapa point tentang FAKTA MONOMOLA LIP TATTOO!

1. This product first was developed in CHINA, and you can find it in http://www.molicai.com/ and then it produces also in Korea: http://www.monomola.co.kr/ both are original and it is save to use.
2. Monomola is the name of the product after produced in Korea, but if you can read Korean Hangeul, you can see it is written "MOLICHAE" in the packaging, which pointing to the Chinese version "molicai".
3. Because the production is in different fabric, so the material of packaging is surely different, it makes sense.
4. This product is quite NEW and still has much input from buyer, so the fabric is also still developing for better quality in the future. If you find the texture differences, I think it's normal due to this reason - and it's depends on when you buy this product.
5. Some online shop can sell it under 45.000 (around 4.5US$) each, and it's SCARY! Susan found in Taobao they sell it like wholesale! And I think this is where the fake one is coming from!

3. Karena berbeda pabrik, pastilah material untuk packagingnya juga berbeda, ini masuk akal.
4. Produk ini lumayan BARU di pasaran dan pasti banyak masukan dari pembeli, jadi pabriknya juga pasti masih mengembangkan kualitasnya untuk kedepan. Jadi kalau kalian menemukan tekstur yang berbeda mungkin saja karena alasan ini - tergantung kapan kalian membelinya.
5. Beberapa online shop menjual dibawah 45.000 satuannya, dan ini MENAKUTKAN! Susan nemuin di Taobao yang jual grosiran! Dan kurasa disinilah sumber produk palsunya!

What I Like:

♥ Has PERFECT matte color finish
♥ Last longer than lipstick, up to 6 hours with eating or drinking!
♥ No left stain
♥ Natural color for Lovely Peach color

What I Dislike:
* Not practical, must wait more than 20 minutes
* The smell is not really good for me
* It's hard to peel it off, my lips are dry and wrinkled
* Once hurt my lips and made it bloody, but its okay, I was a bit rushed when peel it off :)
